The FBA is sad to report the death of former FBA president Robyn Spalter. Spalter passed away on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28th, during a deep sea dive.
Spalter graduated from Miami Killian Senior High School in 1981, attended the University of Florida and received a law degree from the University of Houston and recently received a Masters in Health Care law from Seton Hall Law School. She practiced law in Houston and New Orleans before returning to Florida.
Spalter served as president of the Federal Bar Association from 2005-2006 and was a member of the Broward County Chapter, and Bankruptcy Law, Federal Litigation, and Health Law Sections.
Her funeral was Thursday, May 31, 2012 in Boynton Beach, Florida.
