The International Court Program Legal Reporters will be reporting on jurisdictional elements, developments in active cases, legal community initiatives, and other relevant topics in the wide range of international courts and tribunals that operate at the Hague, including the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, and multiple ad hoc tribunals. Reporters include:

Dana Busgang, Legal Reporter
Dana Busgang is a rising fourth-year part-time student at American University Washington College of Law. They graduated from Goucher College in 2015 with a degree in Political Science and International Relations. In law school, they have interned with Human Rights Watch and the American Bar Association’s Atrocity Crimes Initiative. Dana hopes to pursue a career in international criminal law.

Jade Davis, Legal Reporter
Jade Davis is a first-year student at Tulane University Law School. She graduated from Boston College in the spring of 2020 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Chinese.

 

Zaineb Hamdan, Legal Reporter
Zaineb Hamdan is a graduate of CUNY School of Law and Smith College. She is currently an Assistant Law Clerk in King County Surrogate’s Court. She was a student legal intern in the Human Rights and Gender Justice Clinic at CUNY Law. Where she worked on international criminal law issues.

 

Chloe Hassanfratz, Legal Reporter
Chloe Hassenfratz is currently a first-year student at Tulane University Law School. Originally from Los Angeles, she graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Spanish.

 

Jomart Joldoshev, Legal Reporter
Jomart Joldoshev is an experienced international lawyer, arbitrator, and law professor specializing in international law and dispute resolution. He holds dual LL.M. degrees in International Law and Justice from Fordham University School of Law and Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary, University of London. Jomart has served as Chairman of the Central Asian Court of International Arbitration and actively contributes to various international legal initiatives.

Robert Manukyan, Legal Reporter
After graduating from Vassar College with a double major in International Relations and Russian in 2014, I worked for several non-profits, including Global Action Against Mass Atrocity Crimes, PINK Armenia, Helsinki Association for Human Rights and the Roosevelt Island Residents Association. Before pursuing an occupation in law, I worked as an investigator with the Civilian Complaint Review Board, in the field of police oversight. I am currently in my final semester at Tulane Law School, after which I will complete my studies with a certificate in International and Comparative Law. I am fluent in English, Russian and Armenian.

Rachel Solino, Legal Reporter
Rachel Solino will graduate Tulane Law School in May 2021. While in law school she competed in the Vis International and Commercial Arbitration Team, and was a managing editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law. Following graduation, she will practice corporate law in New Orleans, Louisiana.

 

Surekha Naidoo, Legal Editor
Surekha Naidoo is a second-year law student at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. She clerked at the South African Human Rights Commission working on human rights violations and has worked at international business law firms. She plans to work in policy advocacy and international human rights law.

 

Emma Tsankov, Legal Editor
Emma Tsankov is an LLM candidate in European Union Law at the University of Amsterdam. She is currently participating in the University of Amsterdam’s Fair Trials Clinic, an initiative of the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s TrialWatch Program. She also serves as the FBA International Courts Lead Student Liaison.
