Kimberly Mann, Managing Director, U.S. Strategy and Growth Leader Environmental Practice
Kim specializes in providing clients with expert advice on environmental risks and insurance solutions. She has extensive experience in complex environmental risks, including mergers & acquisitions, brownfield redevelopment, heavy industrial risks, and product & asbestos exposures.
Kim has experience in crafting solutions to meet client-specific needs, including the following: Pollution Legal Liability, Excess of Indemnity, Products Pollution, Adverse Development Caps, Loss Portfolio Transfer, Cost Cap, Environmental Liability Buyouts, Contractors Pollution and Combined General Liability/Pollution Liability.
Kim has industry and account management experience in a wide range of industries, including working with chemical, power & utility, environmental remediation, real estate, construction, manufacturing, public utility and infrastructure, gaming and entertainment, higher education, healthcare, commercial transportation, and retail, among others.

Michael Sharkey, Partner, Perkins Coie
Michael Sharkey assists clients on a range of insurance litigation issues, including alleged products liability, environmental contamination, directors and officers liability, asbestos bodily injury and property damage, trademark infringement, and defamation. As counsel to policyholders, Michael has participated in all phases of litigation and has briefed appeals to state supreme courts and state and federal appellate courts.
Before a claim arises, Michael advises clients on the scope of insurance coverage under their existing or proposed policies and suggests possible improvements to seek at renewal. Michael also guides clients on insurance issues pertaining to corporate transactions.
Additionally, he counsels clients proactively on the drafting and interplay of insurance and indemnification provisions in contracts, including construction contracts, supplier and service agreements, and corporate transactions.
