18th Annual Judge John M. Shaw “Country Gentleman” Civility & Ethics Seminar

This year’s Seminar will be offered both virtually and live. Due to courthouse precautions, in-person attendance will be limited to the first 20 registrants who indicate they will attend in person.
The live Seminar will be held at the Western District Courthouse in Lafayette, LA in Courtroom 2
(Fourth Floor). A reception will be held afterward for those in attendance.

• 2:30 – 3:00 PM Lafayette‐Acadiana Chapter General Meeting; Election and Swearing in of 2022 Chapter Board
• 3:00 – 4:00 PM Recent Developments in Legal Ethics: A survey of recent
  • (1 hr – Ethics) amendments to the Rules of Professional Conduct, advisory opinions interpreting the rules, and case law concerning lawyer discipline.
