Dayton Chapter Event: State of the Court

The State of the Court event includes presentations by judges regarding relevant events from 2022 regarding the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and what is expected in 2023, including changes to the various sets of federal rules. The speakers include Chief Judge Algenon L. Marbley, District Judge Michael J. Newman, Magistrate Judge Peter B. Silvain, Jr., and Bankruptcy Judge Guy R. Humphrey. It has been approved for 1.0 general hours of CLE credit by the Ohio Supreme Court and, immediately following the program, attendees will be able to attend a luncheon at the courthouse, with boxed lunches/salads catered by Dorothy Lane Market. Program materials will include identification of federal rules that were amended or added in 2022 and those that are slated to be amended or added in 2023.
