Patricia (Pati) Limón de Rodríguez

Patricia (Pati) Limón de Rodríguez was born and raised in Houston, Texas and is a dedicated and passionate first-generation lawyer. With a wealth of professional experience, Pati is committed to making a meaningful impact by resolving to assist individuals who seek an advocate to help them navigate the legal system.

Prior to pursuing her innate interest in law, Pati worked as the Director of Administration for Edge Creative Strategies, a boutique advertising agency, while also working part-time as the Executive Director of the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston (HisBA). During her time at Edge and HisBA, she received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, where she graduated summa cum laude, earning a 4.0 GPA.

Pati attended South Texas College of Law Houston as a second-career law student. Her academic achievements include being awarded the Dean Merit Scholarship and receiving recognition as a member of the Presidential Fellows program. Additionally, Pati was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and successfully completed one of the law school’s Texas Trial Advocacy Concentration Certificates.

Marked by her active involvement in numerous student organizations while attending law school, her leadership roles have honed her advocacy skills and deepened her understanding of the law. She has served as the Mountain Region Director for the National Latina/o Law Students Association, Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee of the Houston Young Lawyers Association, and is currently the Chair of the Publications/Publicity Committee and Fifth Circuit Representative for the Federal Bar Association’s Law Student Division. Keeping in line with a non-traditional path, Pati sat for the July 2024 Uniform Bar Exam and learned that she passed the Texas Bar Exam before she graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston in December 2024.

Nurturing her love for learning languages and traveling, Pati attended two law school study abroad programs at Právnická Fakulta Univerzity Karlovy in Prague, Czech Republic and the Academy of the Advocate’s School of Trial in St. Andrews, Scotland. She is fluent in Spanish, with an intermediate proficiency in Hebrew and French as well as a basic knowledge of Arabic, German, and Russian.

For leisure, Pati enjoys community engagement, volunteering for diverse causes, and spending time with her husband and fellow Texas attorney, Judge Raúl Rodríguez.
