Caleb Zachary Morris is currently engaged in his second year of the JD/MBA dual degree program at the University of Georgia School of Law, located in Athens, Georgia.
His academic journey in higher education began with an undergraduate degree in International Affairs from the University of Georgia, from which he graduated summa cum laude. During his undergraduate tenure, Mr. Morris was selected for the esteemed Public Leadership Internship Program at the White House, serving in the Offices of Communications and Press in 2018. This prestigious role provided him with a formative experience in the epicenter of national leadership. Further broadening his practical experience, he served as a Legal and Public Policy Intern at Dentons LLP in Washington D.C., where he honed his skills in crafting legal memoranda and engaging with public policy initiatives.
Before embarking on his graduate studies, Mr. Morris ventured into the realm of social enterprise with the founding of Civics Academy. As Chief Operating Officer, he was instrumental in designing and executing educational curricula and strategic business operations. His responsibilities extended to forging and maintaining pivotal relationships with a network of judicial officials and agencies across Georgia, Florida, and New Jersey. In this role, he was also intimately involved with the company’s day-to-day operations and partnered closely with the CEO in steering the company’s business development efforts.
At law school, Mr. Morris’s dedication to the criminal justice system has been evident through his internship with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. In this capacity, he conducted meticulous research into case law and statutes, bolstering the attorneys’ case development, and managed critical case files, contributing to trial preparation. Additionally, his work with the UGA Law’s Appellate Litigation Clinic saw him delve into extensive legal research on immigration, providing substantial support to attorneys in the construction of legal strategies and arguments.
Beyond his professional life, Mr. Morris is a dedicated runner, a poet, and a bonsai enthusiast, reflecting his appreciation for endurance, expression, and precision. He is also a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs.
