The Federal Bar Associaton’s 37th Annual Indian Law Conference was held April 19-20, 2012 at Buffalo Thunder Casino in Santa Fe, NM. This year’s focus was on “Mapping Indian Law & Policy.”
Session discussions included such topics as The Shifting Boundaries of Tribal Identity, Inter-Governmental Jurisdictional Agreements, Cartography of Indian Country, Transporation Issues in Indian Country, and Internet Gaming Issues. Friday’s luncheon centered around a tribute to the life of the late David Getches.
