Welcome Judicial Term Clerks within the federal court system!
Thank you for your interest in complimentary associate membership in the Federal Bar Association, the Voice of the Federal Bar and Bench. We are dedicated to promoting the welfare, interests, education, and professional development of all those involved in federal law.
There are no annual dues for Term Clerk membership, to your local chapter, and to the Judiciary Division. Complimentary membership expires the September 30th after the end of your clerkship, at which time you will be invoiced for standard membership. Please allow up to one-week for processing.
Do I qualify?
From our Membership page: Term law clerks of any judge of the Federal courts established under Article III of the Constitution of the United States, any United States Bankruptcy Judge, any United States Magistrate Judge, and any judge of a Federal court established under Article I of the Constitution of the United States who is nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate is eligible to receive a complimentary membership during their clerkship.
