Message from the President
Welcome to the Phoenix Chapter of the Federal Bar Association
It is an honor to serve as President of the Phoenix Chapter for the 2026–2027 year. Whether you have been a member for many years or are visiting our chapter for the first time, I am grateful for your interest in our organization and the federal legal community we serve.
One of the greatest strengths of our chapter is the people who make it extraordinary. Our membership includes private practitioners, government attorneys, federal judges, law professors, and law students who share a commitment to excellence in federal practice and to the fair administration of justice. The opportunity to learn from one another, build professional relationships, and serve alongside colleagues from every corner of the federal legal community is what makes the Phoenix Chapter such a rewarding organization.
Throughout the coming year, we will continue to offer outstanding educational programming featuring members of the federal judiciary, experienced practitioners, and nationally recognized speakers. We also look forward to continuing many of our favorite chapter traditions, including the annual Holiday Party and the always-anticipated Big Cookie Olympics. Beyond our CLEs and special events, we remain committed to supporting the federal courts, encouraging professionalism, mentoring the next generation of federal practitioners, and creating meaningful opportunities for our members to connect with one another.
The Phoenix Chapter has long enjoyed a reputation as one of the most active and collegial chapters in the Federal Bar Association. That reputation is built entirely on the generosity of our volunteers, our board members, and our engaged membership. I encourage you not only to attend our programs, but also to become involved. Whether by joining the Chapter, serving on a committee, attending an event, or introducing a colleague to the FBA, every member helps strengthen our federal legal community. I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our Chapter. Please feel free to contact me at akh@jaburgwilk.com if you have any questions.
On behalf of our officers and Board of Directors, thank you for your support of the Phoenix Chapter. I look forward to seeing you throughout the year and working together to continue building a vibrant, welcoming, and engaged federal bar.
Warm regards,
Aaron K. Haar
