NEW PORTAL, NEW LOGIN
The FBA recently upgraded its database and website systems, so all FBA account holders (members and non-members alike) must create and verify their login for the new system. Following this one-time process should enable access (in rare cases, your firewall might block the follow-up Verify email – if so, please notify FBA staff at www.fedbar.org/help – other troubleshooting can be found below).
- Go to our new login screen at https://members.fedbar.org/ (opens in new browser window)
- Select the tab called Set Up an Account

- Enter your info
- Email on file with the FBA
- New password going forward
- First Name
- Last Name
- Click SET UP>

- You will receive an email to verify your login and account – follow the steps in this message
- After successful verification, you no longer have to perform this Set Up for this email address, and the default Login tab and Password Recovery can now be used at the new login screen (bookmark me!).

- At your new FBA Home Screen, you will be able to view your membership status, review recent payments and outstanding invoices, and other tasks related to your FBA experience.

Online Portal Q&A
- Why didn’t I get my “recover password” email?
- In most cases, the member has not created the login for the new FBA Online Portal. If you have not attempted to log into fedbar.org since June 2025, you need to go through the Create Login steps above.
- What if I no longer have access to the email on file?
- This is a common road block. For this issue, members need to notify FBA Staff with a support ticket at www.fedbar.org/help so that staff can update your email address on your account, which unblocks the process in most cases.
- What is that Linked In and Google button on the Login screen?
- Instead of the standard “Email + Password” login method, you can now set up “social login” that ties your Linked In login or your Google login with FBA Online Portal access. Social login can be a seamless and portable login method, especially for those who do not want to tie their login to an email address. Note that social login password recovery is only available at your Linked In or Google Account; the FBA does not retain your Linked In or Google Account username or password.
- I know that I successfully created a login for the new Online Portal, why doesn’t it work?
- Please try again but via Linked In or Google login – it’s easy to forget that you used social login at setup!
- Can I create a social login AND an email+password login?
- YES! Simply complete the create and verify login process for each login method.
- Can I create a login on behalf of someone else?
- If you have authorized access to the individual’s email, then you can act on the follow-up Verify message to complete the process. Note that if you are setting up logins for multiple individuals, you need to LOG OUT of the active login on your screen to start over for the next person.
