Looking at leadership through an equity lens, leadership development and inclusion and diversity expert Vicki Clark will examine issues of power, culture and microaggressions to show how bias impacts our work with one another. (Open to all members)

Focusing on sustainability, structure, and relevance, non-profit and association consultant Bob Harris will share best practices in board meetings, committees, and strategic plans.

Over the past year, we have all needed to pivot from in-person events to virtual presentations and online get-togethers… learn how FBA leaders from chapters, sections, and divisions have leveraged the digital space to provide value to their members. Attendees will learn about getting their events online, where to find collaboration opportunities, and existing virtual FBA events to promote as a benefit to members.

In this virtual collaboration session, you’ll learn useful tips & tricks on how to be an effective Section or Division leader! Review tools to strengthen your section or division, with overviews on work plans, FBA policies, and firsthand experience from past leaders. - Chapter Spotlight: 10-100 members (4:00 – 5:00 pm ET)
The advantages and challenges met by chapters can vary depending depending on the size of its membership. In this session for chapters of membership 100-and-below, chapter leaders will share their experiences meeting the needs of members with limited resources. Leaders will learn about the tools available in the online Leadership Portal, how other chapters are thriving in these uncertain times, and how to sustain leadership from one year to the next.

In this session for chapters of membership 100+, chapter leaders will share their success stories and solutions to the unique needs of chapters of this size. Leaders will learn about the tools available in the online Leadership Portal, how other chapters are thriving in these uncertain times, and how to leverage boards and committee chairs to get things done.
