Message From the Chair
As the Chair of the Federal Bar Association’s International Law Section, and on behalf of my respective Board Members, we would like to welcome everyone to join the section, get involved, network with a wonderful group of professionals, and get engaged in everything the field of international law and the International Law Section have to offer.
Our section is fortunate to have many experienced legal professionals to connect with those who are knowledgeable and well-versed in the various concepts of international law who are more than happy to share that knowledge and provide networking opportunities. We look forward to providing members within the Federal Bar Association with an engaging and educationally stimulating experience in the world of international law. With international law being a growing issue in our current legal climate, we must recognize the importance of how international laws play a part in our global climate.
We look forward to serving the members of the Federal Bar Association with informative webinars and presentations on various global issues and international law-related concepts. The International Law Section offers articles and publications in both The Federal Lawyer and The Globe, our section’s own newsletter. We invite interested members to contribute to the International Law Section by writing an article or piece, presenting a specific topic for a webinar, or contributing to producing meaningful and informative content pertaining to various concepts of international law. We welcome your efforts, leadership, and contributions to the International Law Section.
The International Law Section is assisted by the expertise and dedication of Mike McCarthy, the FBA’s Director of Sections and Divisions. His efforts are appreciated in our mission and goals as a section. The International Law Section is looking forward to a great year, and everyone is welcome to be a part of this journey and experience.
