FBA Summer Law Clerk Program Application

Thank you for your interest in participating the Federal Bar Association Younger Lawyers Division's Summer Law Clerk program. The Summer Law Clerk program is a 6-week program that offers rising 2Ls an exciting opportunity to meet and interact with current professionals in a variety of sectors of the law.

Over the course of the program, participants will attend mandatory weekly webinars with current professionals to learn about their practice and legal career. Participants will have the unique opportunity to speak directly with speakers about their experiences. A small lunch stipend will be offered to participants.

If you are interested in applying to the Summer Law Clerk program, please complete this application by April 22, 2026. The National Board of the Younger Lawyers Division will send decisions out to applicants by May 4, 2026. The Summer Law Clerk program will begin with the Kick-Off Mixer on June 22, 2026. The webinars will be hosted every Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. (ET) from June 24, 2026 to July 22, 2026. Attendance is mandatory unless prior approval is received.

Eligibility: In order to be eligible for the Summer Law Clerk Program, you must be a current rising 2L or LLM candidate with a foreign law degree.
