This webinar series enables attendees to receive education and mentoring from seasoned immigration attorneys in specific areas of immigration law. Panelists Priscilla Orta and Taylor Levy will discuss current border issues and policies.

Taylor Levy, Taylor Levy Law
Taylor Levy is an immigration attorney in San Francisco, California. After a decade working with various nonprofits, Taylor founded her own legal consulting firm dedicated to protecting the rights of asylum-seekers arriving at our southern border. Taylor provides education and advocacy around issues affecting asylum-seekers at the border, including mentoring other attorneys, presenting at conferences, speaking to the press, and hosting professional delegations visiting the area. Taylor received her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and holds an M.A. from the University of Texas at El Paso and a B.A. from the University of Colorado.

Priscilla Orta, Lawyers for Good Government
Priscilla Orta supervises Lawyer’s for Good Government’s (L4GG) efforts at the border with Project Corazon, which was created to defend the rights of migrants in the face of inhumane immigration policies. Priscilla has worked in immigration law and in immigrant organizing since graduating law school. In total, Priscilla has spent seven years in Brownsville, Texas, and considers the Valley her home. Priscilla has a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA in History from Harvard College.
