Webinar: Dispute Resolution in the Workplace: Managing Remote Workers

July 15, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Remote or hybrid work has been trending over the past several years. Companies and employers are shifting to remote work in order to cut costs, gain efficiencies, and offer employee flexibility. According to recent Census data, 5.2% of the workforce worked from home before the pandemic. It is likely that the pandemic has increased the percentage of remote workers. Whether the change to remote work will be for better or worse depends on a lot of factors such as worker productivity and collaboration. How are you or your client doing managing remote workers? Do you need workplace facilitation tips for remote worker issues? Do you manage remote workers and are you trying to uplevel?

We will discuss the following topics for attorneys, mediators, and human resource professionals to consider while navigating the waters of managing remote workers:

  • Laws that relate to managing remote workers
  • Accountability for remote workers
  • Accountability for remote worker supervisors and managers
  • Creating a cohesive work culture in a remote environment
  • Rapport building for remote workers and teams
  • Ideas for managing dynamic employee personalities in remote work environments, including difficult personalities
  • Toxic work environments and employee discipline
  • Remote workplace issues that attorneys, mediators, and human resource professionals often hear about or encounter and possible solutions

The CLE panel of presenters includes labor and employment attorneys, seasoned mediators, and a human resource professional and career coach. We have allocated time for questions and answers at the end of the program. Please join us on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. EST for this interesting and lively one-hour program focused on the ADR process and skills and labor and employment law.
