COMPASSIONATE RELEASE IN THE AGE OF COVID
Tuesday, September 15
Federal judges have granted over 1200 compassionate release motions since the pandemic began its rampage through federal prisons. Experts—a compassionate release recipient, an Assistant Federal Public Defender, a U.S. Probation Officer, and a criminal defense lawyer volunteering with the Compassionate Release Clearinghouse COVID-19 Project—will discuss litigating motions from their unique vantage points.
