Southern District of New York Chapter: Myth Busting the Trans Sports Panic: The Imagined Crisis at the Top and The Ignored Crisis at the Bottom

The Federal Bar Association, SDNY Chapter along with co-sponsors the Westchester Black Bar Association, Westchester County Bar Association and the Westchester Women’s Bar Association presents a CLE program on transgender athletes and a review of the legal landscape driving the sports inclusion backlash.

The panel includes Chris Mosier, a transgender advocate and Team USA Athlete; Julia De Persia, Gender and Disability Equity Lead for the New York City Department of Education; and Elizabeth Tang, Senior Counsel for Education and Workplace Justice at the National Women’s Law Center. Program will be moderated by J. Remy Green, civil rights attorney and lecturer of law.
