SDNY Chapter: Talking with Trailblazers Series

Talking with Trailblazers Series
Wednesday, August 4, 2021 | 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM EST
Please join the Federal Bar Association’s SDNY Chapter as we kick off an exciting new program, Talking With Trailblazers, a series of discussions with trailblazing lawyers and judges as they share their inspiring journeys.
Our guest speaker for the inaugural session on August 4, 2021 is Patricia Martone, a renowned patent attorney, arbitrator, adjunct professor and currently a research fellow with multiple awards and many “firsts” – the first woman to make partner in a major patent law firm, trial partner in the landmark Polaroid v. Kodak case winning the largest patent damages award at the time, launching the first Asian practice at a major law firm, first woman & first lesbian woman to chair the Board of New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, and many more!
This virtual fireside chat will be moderated by Padmaja Chinta, the Chapter’s Chief Diversity Officer, and followed by an open Q&A.
