Qui Tam Section: [VIRTUAL] Getting to Know the State MFCUs: California & Rhode Island

October 22, 2025 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Virtual Event
**Program hosted in (ET) Time Zone**

This panel will provide insight into the role of the state Attorneys Generals in False Claims Act cases involving Medicaid fraud. Our panelists, including Deputy Attorneys General from the largest state (California) and the smallest (Rhode Island), will engage with counsel who represent relators and defendants to provide insight into how these cases proceed at the state level and how it may be different from one state to another. From the seal period to litigation and settlement, our panelists will explore how management of these multi-state proceedings has been working and how it may be evolving to meet current enforcement priorities for the states and federal government.
