About the Presenters

Colleen Hitch Wilson serves as a lead counsel in commercial litigation at Federal Express Corporation. She previously clerked for federal district judges Samuel H. Mays, Jr. of the Western District of TN and Irene M. Keeley of the Northern District of West Virginia. She is a graduate of Georgetown University in 1998 and the University of Virginia School of Law. She currently serves as the President of the Federal Bar Association Memphis/Mid-South Chapter.

M. Kimberly Hodges is the Office Managing Shareholder in Ogletree Deakins’ Memphis and Jackson, MS offices and has concentrated her practice in employment law and litigation for over nineteen years. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Kim was Lead Counsel in Federal Express Corporation’s Litigation and Employment group and worked in various roles in the HR departments of TruGreen ChemLawn, Trailmobile, and Riceland Foods. Kim is a graduate of Arkansas State University and the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. She is a current board member of the Federal Bar Association Memphis/Mid-South Chapter.

Debra Ireland has been an AUSA since 2010, primarily prosecuting internet-facilitated child exploitation offenses and cybercrimes. Prior to joining the USAO, she was a state prosecutor in San Antonio, Texas, and in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with a primary focus on sex crimes and domestic violence. In 2019, she was part of a team that provided instruction on digital evidence to prosecutors in Ghana. Law is her bonus career—before attending law school, she worked in broadcasting, media, and public relations for nearly 20 years. She is a current board member of the Federal Bar Association Memphis/Mid-South Chapter.

Jonathan Nelson is a graduate of Rhodes College and the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. After law school, Jonathan clerked for the Honorable Jon Phipps McCalla of the Western District of TN. He is a member at Bass, Berry & Sims PLC and primarily focuses his practice on business disputes and other commercial litigation matters. He serves as the current membership chair for the Federal Bar Association Memphis/Mid-South Chapter.

Carrie Ann Rohrscheib is a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in the office of the U.S. Trustee for Region 8 in Memphis, Tennessee. She also serves as the U.S. Trustee Appellate Coordinator for Region 8, handling all appeals involving the U.S. Trustee in the states of Tennessee and Kentucky. Prior to joining the U.S. Department of Justice in 2009, she clerked for the Hon. James H. Sledge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama. After clerking, she was an associate in the insolvency department of a regional firm and later joined a Memphis creditors’ rights boutique, where she practiced primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and business reorganization. She received her B.A. from Rhodes College and her J.D. from the University of Memphis.
