Qui Tam Section: [VIRTUAL] Settling FCA Cases: When Discretion is the Better Part of Valor

Settling FCA cases requires careful upfront planning concerning the art of the possible. The experienced panel has settled dozens of FCA cases and will discuss key settlement provision terms in both agreements with DOJ and side agreements between Relators and Defendants; ethical speedbumps governing all sides; civil / appellate procedure nuances for achieving finality; and advanced topics including insurance/tax issues and ability to pay resolutions.
