Capitol Hill Day

Although Capitol Hill Day will not be held on March 19 as an in-person event in Washington, D.C., we encourage Capitol Hill Day registrants to proceed with their scheduled meetings via telephone or conference call.  Our advocacy priorities are important and cannot wait.

We encourage registrants to contact the Congressional offices with whom you have arranged appointments on March 19 to reschedule the meeting as a phone or conference call.  If you plan to conduct the call with other FBA members, please use your preferred conference call number.  If circumstances require you to reschedule to another date, please proceed as promptly as possible.  Please be certain to coordinate with other members of your state, so that duplicate calls are not being made.

In the resources section of the Capitol Hill webpage we have included a call package which outlines the easy steps to follow to arrange and accomplish successful calls. The package also contains a recommended script for calls.  The completion of the call report will help us to assess the success of Capitol Hill Day and identify any necessary follow-up.
