Meetal Reed is a member of the FBA’s Judiciary Division’s Federal Judicial Law Clerk Committee and the Membership Committee Chair for the FBA’s Dayton Chapter. Meetal is an attorney in the Office of the Solicitor for the United States Department of the Interior (“DoI”). Prior to joining the DoI, she served as procurement fraud counsel for the Air Force Materiel Command Law Office. Meetal previously clerked for the Honorable Michael J. Newman, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Ohio, and, and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Deborah L. Cook, United States Circuit Judge of the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Honorable Thomas M. Parker, United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Ohio. She earned her J.D. from the University of Akron and B.S. from the University of Florida.
