Statement on 2023 Hamas Attacks

The Federal Bar Association unequivocally condemns the attacks carried out by Hamas, as well as any acts of terrorism perpetrated by any individual or group, regardless of their affiliation or motivations. Such actions result in the loss of innocent lives and the suffering of communities. During the process of working towards peace and stability in the region, it is imperative that adherence to the rule of law, which includes the safety and security of civilians, is the top priority.

Board members with judicial and other governmental positions did not participate in the issuance of this statement.
