Notice of National Elections and Candidates
The Nominations and Elections (N&E) Committee is responsible for administering the procedures applicable to nomination and election of national officers of the Association during the annual election as prescribed in Article V, Section 3, of the Constitution and Bylaw 6.
An election is held annually in June for the following officers of the association for the next fiscal year beginning on October 1: President-elect; Treasurer; three Directors; and Vice Presidents for Circuits (only circuits with an open seat shall be elected). The incumbent President-elect will automatically succeed the incumbent President on October 1.

Important Dates
February 1: Deadline to submit Applications for National Office
By March 1: N&E Committee nominates candidates for national office
By March 10: Notice of elections and slate of candidates transmitted to members
May 15: Deadline to submit nomination petitions for National Office
June 1: Voting opens if an election is required because of a contested office
June 15: Voting closes if an election is required because of a contested office
In the event that any deadline herein specified is a Saturday, Sunday, or legal federal holiday, the next succeeding business day shall substitute for that specific deadline.
