Angela Eastman is the Chair of the Health Law Section and a former officer of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section. She is currently employed as in-house counsel for a health system and teaches part-time as adjunct faculty at Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law. Her prior employment includes working as in-house counsel for national and regional health insurance corporations; private practice attorney providing legal counsel and regulatory compliance services to various health and insurance organizations; regulatory compliance consultant (health insurance market conduct); and mediator and arbitrator. Angela earned her BA from McGill University, JD from Vermont Law School, and LLM from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law (the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution). She remains active in her local community by volunteering for and supporting non-profit organizations with missions focused on self-sufficiency, education, women, and mental health and substance use disorder.
