Adrienne A. Berry

After serving in various positions for the Kentucky Chapter, including President of the Chapter, I became active at the national level by Chairing the Federal Litigation Section.

While chairing Fed. Lit., I became a Vice President for the Sixth Circuit. Next began my service as an Officer on the Federal Bar Association Board of Directors. Beginning as Deputy Secretary, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President, President Elect and ultimately President (1998-1999). While an Officer, I continued to participate on various FBA Committees.

In the early 2000’s following my FBA experience, I began serving on the Board of the Foundation of the Federal Bar Association. During those years, I was honored by being selected to serve in several positions of leadership. In support of the Foundation I became a Lifetime Fellow at the time the program was re-introduced.

While on the FBA Board, I experienced some of the problems and issues involved with the ownership of the prior FBA Headquarters. So I was pleased to share in the Federal Bar Building Corporation’s stewardship of the current headquarters. During my prior years on the FBBC Board of Directors, I participated in the selection and lease to purchase, which lead to ownership of the present offices. I’ve been privileged to serve as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President and President of FBBC. I became aware of the FBBC when FBA still met in our original buildings. I continued to learn of FBBC’s problems while at FBA’s second headquarters and anticipate preventing or avoiding such issues in the future.

I am a retired Labor and Employment attorney in Louisville, Kentucky.
