Sarah Resnick Cohen

Since 1998, Sarah Resnick Cohen has been an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan. She has worked in the General Crimes Unit, White Collar Crime Unit, as Deputy Chief in the Major Crimes Unit, and as Deputy Chief of the first Health Care Fraud Unit in the district. She is currently prosecuting Public Corruption and Criminal Civil Rights cases. She also serves as the International Coordinator and the Human Trafficking (Forced Labor) Coordinator for the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Sarah has prosecuted a number of high-profile cases including United States v. Dr. Farid Fata. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Sarah clerked for two Judges on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit: Judge James L. Ryan and Judge Cornelia G. Kennedy. She also worked for a national law firm in their Labor and Employment Litigation practice group.
