Los Angeles Chapter: Transitioning from Federal Service to Private Practice

Event Description:
Attorneys transitioning from federal service to private practice face unique challenges, but also have several advantages over their civilian counterparts that can be overlooked. This panel of attorneys who left the United States Attorney’s Office and the Securities and Exchange Commission for private practice, including one who now works at a leading legal recruiting firm, will share tips on how to prepare your resume, whether to use headhunters, interviewing techniques, how to write business plans, what offers you should turn down and much more.
Drinks and appetizers will be provided starting at 5:00, prior to the discussion at 6:00 p.m.
The event will be hosted by Signature Resolution at its offices in downtown L.A. Parking will be validated.
