Los Angeles Chapter: The Nuts and Bolts of Using (and Excluding) Expert Witnesses

Expert witnesses can make – or break – a case. This panel will discuss recent changes in federal procedural and evidentiary rules relating to these critical witnesses; how practitioners can advance their clients’ claims though expert testimony; and how to ensure that courts exercise their gatekeeping role to allow or exclude expert testimony. Drinks and appetizers will be provided starting at 5:30, prior to the discussion at 6:00 p.m.
