Statement on Maryland Judge Andrew Wilkinson and Judicial Security

The Federal Bar Association is saddened by the tragic murder of Maryland Judge Andrew Wilkinson at his home on Thursday, and we offer our sincere condolences to his family. The FBA condemns all attacks on members of judiciary and their families. Security for judges and court personnel has long been a concern of the FBA, and we continue to advocate for adequate measures and funding to protect the Federal Judiciary, their families and court personnel in and outside the courthouse.
