Oklahoma City Chapter: The POWER Act

The POWER Act [CLE]

The Pro Bono Work to Empower and Represent Act of 2018 (POWER Act) helps survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking gain access to pro bono legal services. It requires the chief judge for each judicial district to conduct public events to promote pro bono legal services.
On September 28, 2021, in partnership with Palomar, the United States Attorney’s office, and the Northern/Eastern Oklahoma Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the FBA-OKC will provide an overview of Project Safe Neighborhoods, Palomar’s Legal Network, and Domestic Violence and Expert Witness Testimony
