Federal Bar Association Re-Establishes Chapter in Nashville
The Federal Bar Association (FBA) has re-established its professional chapter for federal legal practitioners in Nashville. The chapter is once again the area’s home for federal judges, attorneys, clerks, and other legal personnel practicing in the U.S. federal court system.
Membership in the Nashville Chapter of the FBA is comprised of any active member of the Federal Bar Association who resides or has his or her employment or office in the Nashville area.
“Local chapters around the United States strengthen the FBA’s connections within the federal legal community,” says FBA National President Hon. Karoline Mehalchick. “We are excited to bring the FBA’s national reach back to Nashville and look forward to the local impact this chapter will create.”
Nashville Chapter members receive the same host of benefits that all national FBA members can access, including networking, mentoring, and leadership opportunities for all practice areas and career levels; more than 700 hours of continuing legal education (CLE) offered at both the national and local level annually; nonpartisan advocacy focused on strengthening the federal legal system; subscription to and publication opportunities within The Federal Lawyer magazine, including judicial profiles; access to the FBA Forum and the Legal Career Center; and exclusive product discounts and promotions.
