Welcome to the Federal Bar Association’s Section on Taxation.  I’m honored to serve as the chair of the Tax Section for 2019-2020, and want to thank our outgoing Chair, Anne Gordon, for doing so much for our Section over the past year.  This is a great time to practice tax law.  In the wake of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and other dramatic changes to the tax landscape, the Section on Taxation is actively bringing members of the tax community together to better understand what the changes mean for taxpayers, practitioners, and the government.  We hope to see you at our panels, social events, and especially the 2020 Tax Law Conference on March 5-6, 2020 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.  We are always looking for new members or new ways for our current members to get more involved in the section, so please do not hesitate to email me with your ideas and questions.
