The New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is one of the oldest chapters in the country, having been chartered in 1937, and currently is the largest chapter with over 1100 members. The New Orleans Chapter serves the Eastern District of Louisiana, which includes 13 parishes across southeast Louisiana. In promoting federal practice and the needs of the federal judiciary and practitioners, the New Orleans Chapter is the premier bar association serving the Eastern District.
