Message from the President
Welcome to the South Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Our Chapter is a vibrant community comprised of nearly 200 members. We are committed to encouraging civility and excellence in our district. Each year we are proud to host a number of popular events and outreach projects for our members. These include:
• Annual Meeting and Federal Practice CLE in the fall;
• “Introduction to Federal Practice” seminar for law clerks and young associates held each summer in Greenville, Columbia, and Charleston;
• Bench and Bar lunches with our federal judges;
• Employment, Qui Tam, and Criminal Law CLEs;
• Student chapter partnerships with the University of South Carolina School of Law and the Charleston School of Law; and
• Opportunities to serve local charities, such as the Ronald McDonald House, alongside other federal practitioners.
