The panelists will address the increasing market practice of adding provisions to invoices and purchase agreements restricting the future sale of artworks\, legal issues to consider when accepting amounts from third parties for the production of works\, working with independent artist liaisons\, legal issues that arise with editioned works\, and access to information and financial participation in secondary market transactions. The talk will include panelists from varying legal perspectives\, including the artist’s perspective\, the gallerist’s perspective and the collector perspective.
