DESCRIPTION:The Mississippi Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is hosting a two-hour CLE luncheon Tuesday\, June 3\, 2025\, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Great Southern Club in Gulfport\, MS. Please join us for this in-person event featuring the Honorable Sul Ozerden\, the Honorable Louis Guirola\, Jr.\, the Honorable Robert P. Myers\, Jr.\, and the Honorable Bradley W. Rath of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. \nParticipants will enjoy a break to visit the lunch buffet in the middle of the program. The Mississippi Bar will offer two hours of CLE credit to attendees. \nThis is an audience-driven program. The panelist want to answer your questions about the law\, the operation of chambers\, and the operation of the Court. Please submit your questions to Candice Temple at Candice_Rucker@mssd.uscourts.gov by Friday\, May 23!  \nPlease pre-register to secure your attendance! The cost is $60 for FBA members\, $75 for non-members\, and no cost for federal judges. Attendees may pay in advance via PayPal or at the door by cash or check. SUMMARY:Mississippi Chapter: Discussion with Judge Bradley Rath\, United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Mississippi
DESCRIPTION:The Mississippi Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is excited to announce that it is once again co-hosting a CLE luncheon with the Harrison County Bar Association on Friday\, December 2\, 2022 at the Great Southern Club in Gulfport\, Mississippi. This in-person CLE luncheon will feature Judge Bradley Rath\, United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Mississippi. \nJudge Rath was appointed to serve as Magistrate Judge on August 1\, 2022\, to a seat previously held by the late Judge John C. Gargiulo. A native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast\, Judge Rath was graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2000\, and entered private practice\, where he worked primarily as a solo attorney representing individuals and small businesses. Judge Rath also served as a municipal judge for five South Mississippi cities from 2008 until his appointment to the federal bench. \nRegister\nThe buffet line will open at 11:30 a.m.\, and the program will begin at noon. \n\nNo cost to Judges\n$25 – FBA Member\n$30 – Non-Member\n\nAttendees may pay in advance via PayPal or at the door by cash or check.
