Download\u00a0a current <a title=\"membership application\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fedbar.org\/Membership\/Membership-Categories.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>membership application<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the FBA provides benefits and hosts a number of quality events at deeply discounted rates for its members, including the following:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Sidebar Luncheon Series<\/span>: A quarterly CLE program, during which practitioners have an opportunity to meet with federal judges in an informal setting.\n    <\/li>\n<li>\n<span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Quarterly Newsletter<\/span>:\u00a0 Each year, the FBA issues 2-4 newsletters with judicial and practitioner profiles, summaries of notable opinions, and the Clerk of the Court\u2019s update about happenings at the federal courthouse.\n    <\/li>\n<li>\n<span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Southern Utah Federal Law Symposium<\/span> :\u00a0 This symposium is held each spring in sunny St. George.\u00a0 It kicks off with a keynote reception at the beautiful Tuacahn Center for the Arts, followed by a full day of CLE with federal judges and national speakers, and ending with scramble golf tournament at the Coral Canyon Golf Course.\n    <\/li>\n<li>\n<span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Ronald N. Boyce Federal Court Litigation Practice Seminar<\/span>: This annual seminar is held each fall in honor of the late Honorable Ronald N. Boyce.\u00a0 The seminar offers a full day of CLE taught by Utah\u2019s federal judges.\n    <\/li>\n<li>\n<span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Tri-State Seminar<\/span> :\u00a0 The Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming chapters take turns hosting the annual Tri-State Seminar in Park City, UT; Sun Valley, ID; and Jackson Hole, WY.\u00a0 In addition to the beautiful surroundings, the major draw of this seminar is getting to hear from a panel of the Chief Judges and Chief Magistrate Judges of the federal courts in all three states.\u00a0\n    <\/li>\n<li>\n<span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Criminal Law Seminar<\/span> : This annual seminar is hosted jointly with the Criminal Law Section.\u00a0 It offers a full day of CLE focusing on federal criminal law issues.\u00a0\n    <\/li>\n<li>\n<span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Introduction to the Federal Court<\/span>:\u00a0 This event helps both mentors and mentees meet one of the requirements of the New Lawyer Training Program.\u00a0 At this event, judges and court staff introduce the lawyers to the federal court, provide tips for effective practice, describe the resources available to practitioners, and offer a tour of the courthouse.\n    <\/li>\n<li>\n<strong><font color=\"#ff0000\">[New this year!]<\/font><\/strong> <span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Networking Social with Law Students<\/span>:\u00a0 The FBA will be hosting an evening reception for law students to come learn more about the FBA and meet some of the FBA\u2019s most prominent members.\n    <\/li>\n<li>\n<strong><font color=\"#ff0000\">[New this year!]<\/font><\/strong> <span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Clerks\u2019 Appreciation Reception<\/span>:\u00a0 The FBA will be hosting an evening reception honoring the hardworking clerks of the federal district court.\n    <\/li>\n<li>\n<span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Aiding the Federal Judiciary and host events to promote the federal practice<\/span>: The FBA is deeply committed to supporting the federal judiciary and increasing access to justice.\u00a0 To further that goal, the FBA has worked closely with the federal court to create and maintain the <span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Federal Appointment Wheel<\/span> and <span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">Help R.I.S.E.<\/span>\u00a0 This year, to commemorate the <span style=\"TEXT-DECORATION: underline\">50<sup>th <\/sup>Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act<\/span>, FBA will host a luncheon and free CLE focusing on civil rights href=\"https:\/\/www.fedbar.org\/Chapters\/Utah-Chapter\/Calendar.aspx\"><strong>Calendar<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Utah Chapter of the FBA is not only one of the most active legal associations in Utah, but it is also one of the most active chapters of the National Federal Bar Association.\u00a0 Your membership with the Utah FBA also entitles you to the following benefits from
