The United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and the Federal Bar Association are proud to present Court Camp 2024! Court Camp is a free, week-long day camp for high school students that will give them an opportunity to learn about and meet those who work in the justice system.
When is Court Camp?
- Court Camp 2024 will be held Monday, July 15, 2024 to Friday, July 19, 2024.
Where is Court Camp?
- Court Camp 2024 will be held at the Diana E. Murphy United States Courthouse in Minneapolis.
Who can attend Court Camp?
- Minnesota high school students who submit an application.
What kinds of things will students do at Court Camp?
Students will get to participate in a variety of activities including:
- Meet judges, court personnel, attorneys, and others who work in the justice system;
- Participate in a mock trial;
- Learn about the justice system and the judicial branch of the United States Government;
- Learn about careers in the justice system;
- And more!
Do students need to bring lunch?
- No! Free lunch will be provided each day.
How can students apply?
- Interested students can submit applications to CourtCamp@mnd.uscourts.gov.
- The preferred application deadline is Friday, May 3, 2024. Students will be notified as soon as possible as to whether they have been selected to participate.
