Dennis Saylor IV.  <\/p>\n<p>The Honorable Nathaniel Gorton introduced Judge Saylor with a history of his life and experience before coming to the bench. The Honorable Dennis Saylor provided valuable judicial insight about Escobar\u2019s implications. <\/p>\n<p>The panelists\u2019 diverse experience provided attendees with practical insight about future FCA cases. Gregg Shapiro, Chief of the Affirmative Civil Enforcement Unit for the United States Attorney\u2019s Office for the District of Massachusetts, shared his individual perspective based on his years of experience. <\/p>\n<p>The defense and whistleblower perspectives were shared respectively by Lawrence Krauss, a litigation partner in Foley &amp; Lardner\u2019s Boston Office, and Suzanne Durrell, a nationally known attorney and affiliate of the Whistleblower Law Collaborative in Boston. <\/p>\n<p>The panel was moderated by Michelle Peirce, the section\u2019s co-chair.<\/p>\n<p>The diverse panel generated interesting and spirited discussions about this long-awaited ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court. Attendees were able to continue the discussion at a reception that followed at the Moakley Courthouse. <\/p>\n<p>The Health Law Section is co-chaired by Michelle R. Peirce and Jason Drori. Peirce is a shareholder at Donoghue Barrett &amp; Singal, P.C. and co-manages the firm\u2019s litigation group. both\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"blueline_divider\"><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h4>Event Honoring Magistrate Judge Kenneth Neiman\u2019s Retirement<\/h4>\n<p>The event was held in Springfield, MA, on Friday January, 16, 2015, at the beautiful federal courthouse there, and was extremely well attended by federal court practitioners, staff and judges. <\/p>\n<p>As Judge Neiman and I are both graduates of Tufts University, I was pleased to present him with a Tufts banner during my opening remarks at the event.
