Employment Law Section"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 10px;\">\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Message From the Chair<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">FBA Labor and Employment Section \u2013 Welcome Message\u00a02025-2026<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props='{\"335551550\":2,\"335551620\":2}'>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Labor and Employment\u00a0Law\u00a0Section is composed of lawyers and law students spanning this diverse,\u00a0multifaceted\u00a0and ever-evolving field \u2013\u00a0plaintiff\u2019s\u00a0and defense counsel, public sector lawyers, human resources professionals and in-house counsel.\u00a0\u00a0Labor and employment law is preeminently relevant,\u00a0touching\u00a0the lives of everyone who has ever held a job.\u00a0\u00a0We welcome new and different perspectives and experiences, so please join us!<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The L&amp;E Section supports its members by generating online and in-person educational programming and continuing legal education panels,\u00a0planning\u00a0networking opportunities, and publishing articles in the Federal Lawyer and our section newsletter,\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u00a0Labouring\u00a0Oar.<\/span><\/i><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Our executive committee enthusiastically encourages member involvement, through participation in board opportunities, sub-committees, attending meetings and events.\u00a0\u00a0Please contact us if you are interested in learning about board opportunities, formal or informal, publishing an article, presenting a panel, or planning an in-person event.\u00a0 We welcome feedback as to how the section can better serve the needs of our\u00a0members, and\u00a0actively seek collaboration with sections and chapters across the FBA and the nation.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Our first board meeting of 2026, on January\u00a09<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0at 12:00PM\u00a0Eastern\u00a0will be open to all section members via videoconference.\u00a0 Please let us know if you would like to\u00a0join\u00a0and we will send you a link.\u00a0 Our upcoming programming includes\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">From the Judges\u2019 Chambers: Fireside Chats on Best Practices in presenting Labor &amp;
