Led by three co-chairs Tricia Campbell (Langdon &amp; Emison), Brent Dwerlkotte (Shook Hardy Bacon), and Casey Tourtillott (career clerk in DKAN), as well as current FBA Chapter President Judge Stephen Bough (WDMO), the courthouse in Kansas City, Missouri welcomed 250 lawyers from across Missouri and Kansas. In addition to some of the top practitioners from both plaintiff and defense sides from Los Angles to New York City, we heard from Judge Catherine Perry (EDMO) of the JPML Panel, Judge John Lungstrum (DKAN), Judge Barbara Rothstein (DCD), Prof. Richard Marcus (UC Hasting), Judge Ann Montgomery (MND), and Judge Duane Benton (8th Cir.). Judge Bacharach\u2019s presentation was entitled: <em>Ethical Issues in Settlement Negotiations: A Discussion<\/em>.
