Dear Government Contracts Section Members,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are thankful for the trust that you have placed in us to be your next Officers for this storied and crucial section of the FBA! The Government Contracts Section has in the past been a wellspring of experience, energy, and stellar lawyering. While the quality of our members has not diminished, the Government Contracts Section\u2019s visibility and activity has.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are committed to an energetic term with big goals and big plans for renewing the Government Contracts Section and making it a valuable and worthwhile resource for you.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our plans this year are bold, but achievable, especially with your engagement. Specifically, we intend to do the following:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Establish subcommittees focused on Bid Protests, Claims and Disputes, Suspension and Debarment, AI and Government Contracts, Small Business& Socioeconomic Programs, and Employment and Labor<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n
  2. Offer several webinars and CLEs to our members to inform them of critical changes in Government Contracts<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n
  3. Regularly publish articles in the FBA Magazine<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n
  4. Work towards establishing an Annual FBA Government Contracts Conference<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    All of this is in furtherance of our goal of re-establishing the Government Contracts Section as not only a preeminent section within the FBA, but as the leading organization within the government contracting community writ large.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    We are hopeful that you will join us in these efforts! If any of these goals in particular resonates with you, please reach out to us so we can give you the tools you need! And, if you are interested in serving in an officer position during this exciting revamp, we welcome you aboard.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
