DESCRIPTION:**Program hosted in (ET) Time Zone** \nAlternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is an increasingly important part of modern legal practice\, providing efficient and effective alternatives to litigation across a wide range of disputes. This session will introduce law students to the fundamentals of negotiation\, mediation\, arbitration\, and other ADR processes; explore when each is most appropriate; examine emerging issues such as online dispute resolution and artificial intelligence; and highlight the growing career opportunities for lawyers in ADR\, including mediation\, arbitration\, corporate practice\, and international dispute resolution. \nRegister Now!\nPresented by the Federal Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution \n\nPresenters\n \nAmy Boyle\, Managing Partner\, MSB Employment Justice \nAmy Boyle is the Managing Partner at MSB Employment Justice in Minneapolis\, Minnesota.  Her practice involves handling all types of employment matters\, with a particular focus on representing women who have experienced sex discrimination\, sexual harassment and assault\, and retaliation and work and whistleblower clients who have reported illegal workplace practices.  Amy also represents clients who have found themselves in an untenable work situation\, advising and negotiating severance agreements for executive-level employees often leaving long-term employment.  While Amy is a tenacious litigator with a winning trial record\, she is known for her no-nonsense approach to settlement negotiations and resolves most of her clients’ cases through an ADR process. \nWithin the Federal Bar Association\, Amy is a Past Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section. She is also a member of the Sections and Divisions Council and the Committee on Advancing the Legal Professional and a Past Chair of the Younger Lawyers Division.  She also serves on the Board and as a Co-Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Minnesota Chapter of the FBA. \nA frequent speaker on the topics of employment law\, discovery\, trial\, wellness and wellbeing\, and diversity and inclusion\, Boyle has organized and presented at many FBA events.  Aside from her work with the FBA\, Boyle is active with the Minnesota Women Lawyers\, serving as a Board Member and the Co-Chair of its Equity Committee and Judicial Initiative\, and Minnesota NELA. \n \nIra Cohen\, Esq.\, B.A.\, J.D.\, LL.M\, Founder & Principal\, IRA COHEN\, P.A \nIra Cohen\, Esq. is the Founder and Principal of Ira Cohen\, P.A.\, an Intellectual Property law firm in Weston\, FL.
