Join the Law Student Division for a virtual wine tasting with Attorney Albert Jacobs\, Magistrate Judge Annie Christoff\, & District Judge Richard Stearns on November 13th. Learn the basics of wine tasting overnight and impress family\, friends\, and future employers with your wine knowledge. This event seeks to provide law students and young attorneys with an introduction to budget friendly wines while comparing the history and taste of our selected wines. Our speakers will be available to answer career and wine related questions in an effort to demonstrate the positive impact that your wine knowledge can have on legal networking and social life. \nPresented by the Law Student Division \nRegistration is Closed \n\nPresenters\nAlbert Jacobs \nAlbert is a wine and food professional with decades of experience. He has served as a wine consultant for several restaurants in New York City\, organized the Wine and food Program at The Harvard Club of New York City\, and was named a member of the Cornell Club of New York City for the purposes of recreating the Club’s wine list. Albert is also a member of The International Wine and Food Society as well as the Phoenix Chapter of the FBA. \n  \n  \nJudge Annie Christoff \nJudge Christoff is a magistrate judge for the United States District Court in the Western District of Tennessee. Before becoming a judge\, she served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Western District of Tennessee\, and prior to that she was a litigation partner at Bass\, Berry & Sims in Memphis\, Tennessee. Judge Christoff has participated in previous wine events for local law students and remains an active member of the Memphis Mid-South Chapter of the FBA. \nJudge Richard Stearns \nJudge Stearns sits on the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. While on the bench he has heard a variety of cases ranging from criminal law to intellectual property. Prior to becoming a judge\, he served as Assistant United States Attorney which propelled him into a role as Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
