SUMMARY:Southern District of Texas Chapter: Hybrid CLE - Trends in Employment Law: It Depends on Who You Ask
DESCRIPTION:This interactive panel will explore how today’s most important employment law issues look from the perspectives of opposing counsel and an in-house attorney. The program features (1) a litigator who represents companies\, executives\, and employees in labor and employment disputes\, (2) an in-house attorney for a Houston-area company\, and (3) an attorney devoted exclusively to employment defense. In a moderator-free\, question-driven conversation\, the panelists will challenge one another and offer candid\, contrasting views on where employment law is headed – and what those trends mean for day-to-day counseling and litigation strategy. Attendees will gain the rare benefit of hearing\, in one discussion\, the viewpoints of the in-house client and both sides of the “v.” The event is approved for 1.25 hours of Texas CLE credit. \nPlease click here to register.
