DESCRIPTION:**Program hosted in (ET) time zone**\n\n\n\nThis panel of insurance dispute litigators and former Department of Justice False Claims Act prosecutors will discuss an evolving field of litigation between policyholders and insurers over coverage claims from False Claims Act settlements\, judgments\, and defense costs. Whether you defend FCA investigations and litigation\, or represent relators\, potential sources of insurance coverage are an important consideration. The panel will discuss the types of policies that may provide coverage\, and disputes arising under those policies. For example\, at what point during an FCA investigation is a “claim” made under the policy? Do FCA settlements stem from “wrongful acts” that may be excluded from coverage? What aspects of an FCA resolution might constitute a “loss” that is insurable?
