SUMMARY:Oklahoma City: Editing Humanity & Liberty’s Limits
DESCRIPTION:Description\nAlthough once the stuff of science fiction\, applications of gene-editing technologies are no longer improbable hypotheticals. Genetically modified humans are now among us. Her work on the legal implications of genomic technologies was recently selected for presentation at the Association of American Law Schools’ annual meeting and the North Carolina Law Review’s annual symposium. Ms. Grafton is currently serving as a term law clerk for the Honorable Timothy D. DeGiusti and will go on to clerk for the Honorable Carolyn King of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals before starting her position with Susman Godfrey\, LLP. \nDrinks and cookies will be served\, but you also may bring a lunch to enjoy. \n1.0 hour CLE credit anticipated. \nFlyer \nSpeakers\nAlexandra Foulkes Grafton\, J.D.\, M.S. \nCLE\n1.0 \nCost\nFree for FBA members and government attorneys. \n$20 for non-FBA members. \n Payment via PayPal invoice sent to your email address upon registration.  \nRSVP\nRSVP to attend here or by emailing robramana@gmail.com by January 29\, 2020. \n
